My whole life has been a journey to the core of myself.

An excavation, a search for both treasures to collect and decay to tend. Both worthy, both beloved.

The deeper I go, the more I find that my internal world is, more often than not, mirrored in the world around me. What is above has much to say about what is below. The way I move, the way I love, the way I work, the way I rest, the way I engage, the way I withdraw -- all of these things have a root system, and that tangled space is my favorite place to play.

I am not particularly compelled by what is seen above ground. I am devoted to the underworld, the source. To the breath and blood and bone.
